GRL Retreat

A heartfelt "thank you" to those who have attended GRL.

We still can't believe our first Retreat was nearly fifteen years ago in New Orleans. Our genre has grown and flourished so beautifully in that time. When we started, it was to fill a need within the community for a place where writers and readers of LGBTQ+ could gather and bond over the books they loved. We're happy to see that so many regional and international groups are now getting together annually. As you can imagine, organizing such a large event has been quite an undertaking and, after so many years, we feel it's the right time to step away. This isn't the last you'll see of us though. I imagine we'll still pop into a convention to catch up with the people we've all grown to love.
